Jayne Hoffman is the artist in residence at this site, and she lives in Portland,
OR with her husband, Scott, nephew Anthony and five feline muses.
Polymer clay is the primary medium for her beads and pendants, but many of her pieces combine polymer clay with other mediums such as metalwork, printmaking and painting. Each piece is a unique design, a spontaneous creation and an absolute joy to create.
Jayne began working with Polymer Clay in 2000. Prior to that she had spent 12 years dabbling in quilting but avidly pursuing counted canvas embroidery. She was a secondary teacher for over eight years, and hopes to begin teaching polymer clay techniques in the near future.
